About Cognivex Labs

COGNIVEX LABS LLC is an independent software company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States. We build and operate developer infrastructure for the point where an application has to act on a physical device.

What we do

Modern software is very good at moving data between services over an API, and surprisingly bad at the last step where something has to happen in the real world. A warehouse system can calculate a shipping label in milliseconds and then have no reliable way to get it out of a printer forty metres away. The usual answers — a browser print dialog, a person clicking through it, a printer on a private network nobody can see from head office — are the parts that break.

We build the bridge for that last step. Our products give developers an API on one side and a small, well-behaved agent on the other, so an application can drive a physical device anywhere in the world without anyone exposing that device to the internet or standing next to it.

PrintBase

Live

PrintBase lets an application send a print job to any physical printer, anywhere, through a REST API. A lightweight agent runs alongside the printer, receives dispatched jobs over an outbound connection, drives the local printer driver, and reports the result back in real time. No public IP, no open firewall ports, no browser print dialog.

Because our products reach physical devices, we ship signed native client software as well as cloud services — the PrintBase agent has desktop and headless CLI builds for macOS on Apple Silicon and Intel, and for Windows on x64 and ARM64. Further products are in development, and we list them here once they are available to use.

How we are set up

COGNIVEX LABS LLC was formed on February 25, 2026 as a limited liability company under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and is in good standing with the Wyoming Secretary of State under filing ID 2026-001903454. We are a young company and we would rather say so plainly than dress the business up as something larger than it is.

We are self-directed and product-funded. That shapes how we work: a small number of products, built and supported by the people who wrote them, released when they are genuinely ready.
